Drabble Challenge 088 on March 29th
Today’s random word is “puncture.” The story must include at least two rhyming verses.
A drabble is a fictional story containing exactly 100 words: No more and no less.
The hall clock chimed, its hand overlapping and pointing at 12.
Bosses and colleagues were celebrating the company milestone, rattling their glasses and dancing.
“Did you see Jasmine?” Danny asked around.
He furrowed, looking at the dozens of unanswered texts on his phone.
Jasmine didn’t show up.
He left for the car park. He found an ominous paper box in his driver's seat.
Confused, he opened the box.
Inside was a note hand-written by Jasmine.
“I know what you did
You piece of shit.
You ruined my future
With the condom you punctured.”
Below the note was a stick.
